Weder der Europarat noch die mit Konferenzen und Projekten der Bürgerbeteiligung und Patientenpartizipation beschäftigten Universitäten haben Übersetzungen. Die Bundesrepublik arbeitet mit im Europarat und diese Beschlüsse werden durch Übersetzungen einer breiteren deutschen Öffentlichkeit zugänglich. Zur Bürgerbeteilung gehört auch der Zugang zu behördlichen Informationen, genannt Informationsfreiheit.
